Friday lunch was started about 20 years ago when there was a need to help newcomers adjust to life in Switzerland.  Old and new members meet for a lively exchange of news from the U.S.A. and helping newcomers with problems they might encounter when settling in Basel. We meet at the Restaurant Cafe Spitz (The Merian Hotel, Rheingasse 2, 4058 Basel) on Fridays at noon.  A table is always reserved with the America flag displayed. No reservations are needed.
